Who we are

Astrofated (“Astrofated,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates astrofated.com and the Astrofated report generation service. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@astrofated.com.

What we collect

Information you provide directly:
  • Names or nicknames (optional — used to personalize your report)
  • Birth dates and birth times (used solely for astrological calculations)
  • Birth locations (converted to latitude/longitude for chart accuracy)

Information collected automatically:
  • Email address (collected by Stripe at checkout — we receive it to send your report)
  • Payment information (processed entirely by Stripe — we never see card numbers)
  • Basic analytics data (page views, session duration) to improve the service

What we do NOT collect:
  • We do not require account creation
  • We do not collect social media profiles
  • We do not use tracking cookies beyond standard analytics

How we use your information

  • To calculate your astrological charts and generate your personalized report
  • To send you your report and order confirmation via email
  • To respond to support requests
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our service

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use birth data for any purpose other than generating your requested report.

Third-party services

We share limited data with the following processors to operate the service:
  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic — AI report generation. Birth data and names are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate your report. Subject to Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared to deliver your report.
  • Vercel — application hosting. Standard server logs may be retained per Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

Data retention

Birth data entered on astrofated.com is stored temporarily in your browser session and is not persisted to our servers beyond what is required to generate your report. Email addresses are retained only as long as needed to deliver your order and respond to support requests.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@astrofated.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Astrofated is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
